service projects
Providing opportunities for our students to participate in mission trips, retreats, and service projects are an integral part of fulfilling our mission. We want each of our students to experience the heart of God in serving others and the unexpected joy that comes from placing the needs of others above our own.
CAMP FOREST SPRINGS
We provide an educational and spiritually charged atmosphere of growth and relationship building through our 3-day retreat to Camp Forest Springs where students learn about God's creation and His relationship with us.
OUR ANNUAL SERVE-A-THON
Each November, the entire school serves the community in some way, shape, or form via our "Serve-A-Thon," which consists of two full days of community-based service projects. Our middle school students also do service projects throughout the entire school year. Our students have fed the homeless, visited shut ins, done craft projects with the elderly, created blankets for abandoned babies, made sandwiches for the needy, cleaned our host church, collected shoeboxes with Operation Christmas Child, raked leaves, planted trees with the City of Blaine, and so much more.
MISSIONS & HISTORY TRIPS
Each spring, our Middle and High Schools go on a school-led missions trip. These trips are unique because we intentionally combine a missions focus while learning the history of our great country and the countries surrounding us. In years past we have traveled to Monterrey, Mexico, Costa Rica, and all along the East Coast, including trips to Washington DC, New York City, Boston, Philadelphia, Houston, and more.
