In the Loop
Thank you to all who enrolled for Northside’s 2021-2022 school year – we are so excited to have you all back!
The office has now completed the 2021-2022 Financial Agreements. TADS will send you an email by April 15th with details about your financial agreement and your payment plan options. Please complete/sign your Financial Agreement and set up your payment plan no later than April 30, 2021.
2021-2022 Book Fees
For those who have enrolled for fall, you will receive a $345 invoice for book fees in mid-June (it will be emailed to you). Book fees are due no later than June 30, 2021.
School Pictures for New Students
Students who joined NCS after the first quarter missed our original school picture day, but we have scheduled a special school picture day for these students this Wednesday, April 14th immediately following chapel. These pictures will go into the yearbook and are also available for purchase. Please have your student look extra nice, and follow the school dress code.
Report cards went home with students on Friday. Please sign them and have your student return them to the school. As always, the TADS Educate Parent Portal is a great way to stay on top of your student’s academic progress.
Speech Meet is Friday, May 7
Our All-School Speech Meet is now just one month away! Students have chosen (or are choosing) their selections, all written by American poets.
So that parents can attend, we have created the following schedule:
9:00-9:45: Pre-K, Kinder, 1st & 2nd Grades
10:00-10:45: 3rd & 4th Grades
12:00-1:00pm: 5th-8th Grades.
The speech meet will be held in the sanctuary, and parents are welcome to attend their student’s time slot.
Following this big day of speeches, an award ceremony will be held in the sanctuary at 1:30pm. Parents are welcome to attend this ceremony, but campus health & safety protocols will need to be observed.
Campus Safety Notice
To increase campus safety for our students, both doors of the Genesis building are now being kept locked. If you are planning to visit the office, please call to let us know you’re coming, and ring the front doorbell when you arrive. Thank you for helping to keep our kids safe!
Dress Code Pilot Program
We will be rolling out a Dress Code Pilot Program starting May 3rd. The goal is to test out some new ideas based upon some of the feedback we have received on our current dress code. A loosening of specific rules will take place, but modest guidelines will remain.
Starting Monday, May 3rd, this pilot program will remain in effect for the remainder of the school year. The official 2021-2022 dress code will be released after observation of this test period has been completed.
