APPLICATION PROCESS

Here are our steps to admission and acceptance:

  • Choose the desired session / school year.

  • At the end of Part 1 the application you will be asked to pay a one-time non-refundable $25 application fee to hold your student’s class enrollment.

  • Admissions will request School Records for your child(ren).

  • You may be asked to upload the following for your child:

  1. Birth Certificate (for PreK or Kindergarten)

  2. Immunization Record

  3. Custody Documentation (if applicable)

  4. Church Leader Questionnaire

CLICK HERE TO SCHEDULE AN INTERVIEW!

  • After your application is complete and all documents have been received, one of our principals will schedule an interview with you and a time for your child to take the entrance assessment.

  • The interview enables us to learn more about your child, his or her family, and allows us opportunity to hear any specific information about your child relevant in this process.

  • The entry assessments: 

    • Kindergarten – Brigance Readiness Screening

    • Grades 1-8 – Wide Range Achievement Test

      • Reading, math, spelling, and writing.

    • These assessments help us to learn about your student for the best grade placement.

  • An acceptance email along with assessment results will be emailed to parents within two working days.

  • Offers of admission are based on class availability, student development, and social readiness.

ENROLL
  • Upon the acceptance of the Part 1 application process, our online registrar (TADS) will respond with an acceptance letter to complete Part 2 by verifying your information and add any additional required information.

  • Upon completion an invoice will be emailed to you for our non-refundable family application registration fee. 

  • Lastly, a Family Financial Agreement will be sent to you via email.

  • You will be invoiced for the material/technology fee by our online registrar (TADS)

  • Your child’s admission cannot be guaranteed until the enrollment packet is complete, submitted, and registration fee is paid.​​​

If you would like to apply for financial assistance, please contact the finance office at 763-755-4800. If you qualify for assistance, the adjusted amount will be reflected on your TADS account once a financial aid application is completed and approved by the school board.
 

Prekindergarten Students: Your child must be age 4 prior to September 1st of that school year. The Pre-K Parent Packet for Pre-K First Day should be complete and received by NCS no later than September 5 of that school year or within 30 days after you have enrolled. The Packet is on the NCS website under Admissions / Forms & Flyers.

 

Kindergarten Students: Your child must be age 5 prior to September 1st of that school year.  Each student must complete the Brigance Kindergarten Readiness Screening.

K-8 Students: Immunization records need to be updated and on file with Northside annually.
