Physical Education
Kate graduated from the University of Northwestern- St.Paul with Bachelor of Science in Physical Education and a minor in Bible. She currently holds a MN K-12 Physical Education teaching license.
Kate's first teaching experience was at a K-8 science and technology magnet school in California. After moving back to Minnesota, she transitioned to working in the health and wellness industry as a personal trainer and group fitness instructor.
Kate is very excited to be back teaching students again. Her philosophy of Physical Education is that students should have the opportunity to try many different types of movement activities with the hope that they would find something they enjoy and will become a lifelong participant in. P.E. should be full of movement and fun!
Kate and her husband Jon have two kids. They are involved in their local church and help lead a small group. Most of their free time is spent playing board games or participating in outdoor activities. Some of their favorite things to do outside are fishing, biking and playing sports.
